POSITION SUMMARY:

 

We are looking for a fully-remote Cloud Support Engineer, located in Costa Rica. Do you have a deep passion for technology and a driving desire to learn new things every day? Would you consider yourself opportunistic in that you are constantly looking for what is possible and how you can solve, help and do new things through technology? Are you customer focused and willing to dig deep with a customer to help resolve issues that they may be encountering? Are you willing to admit when you don’t have all the answers and willing to leverage other experts to help solve the problem? This team is responsible for working with a broad range of customers, from independent developers to large in-house information technology or enterprise organizations, providing support for application development and issues encountered during the development lifecycle. This could include proactive and reactive assistance based on customer need.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

Work directly with breadth and enterprise developers on issues they experience with their development projects.
Solve challenging development problems using a variety of resources and tools.
Provide technical support and assistance using either the online version (DevOps Services) or the on-prem version (DevOps Server) of the product.
Troubleshoot issues, resolve technical problems, and provide guidance on configuration and usage.
Stay updated on new features, updates, and best practices related to DevOps Services or DevOps Server.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, consulting, or support, with a focus on Microsoft Client, Server, and Development products and technologies.
  • Technical Expertise (Required in one or more of each area) in Cloud, Windows Desktop Development, Web Development, Game, or Phone
  • Strong understanding of the application lifecycle and agile development principles.
  • Knowledge in cloud technologies, such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and iCloud.
  • Knowledge in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, VB.NET, JAVA, and HTML5.
  • Experience with developer tools like Visual Studio, Unity, Eclipse, .NET Framework, and DebugDiag.
  • A passion for working with peers and customers to help resolve deep customer technical issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, B2 level
  • Willingness to undergo training on Cloud technologies, especially if experience is primarily with on-premises solutions.
  • Openness to learning new tools, platforms, and methodologies to stay current in the field of DevOps and software development.
