The SCCM Engineer / Senior Desktop Engineer will manage and maintain the Windows workstation platform. This role will be a member of the firm-wide desktop engineering team leveraging Microsoft technologies across the endpoint environment.  The Senior Desktop Engineer will be responsible for establishing and executing the full lifecycle of workstation OS images and Firm applications, performing updates/patches/in-place upgrades where appropriate, along with managing the user experience across the physical (desktop/laptop) and virtual (VDI) platforms.  They should be able to automate configurations & repetitive tasks through PowerShell scripting, GPO, and/or other methods, allowing for highly scalable and optimized deployments.  In addition, they must have exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills to be able to resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.


Administer, Manage, and Maintain the SCCM infrastructure
Design/Configuring/Patching/Remote Control
Package/Customize/Deploy Applications
Package/Deploy Updates (OS/3rd Party Applications)
Design/Build/Manage/Maintain Task Sequences and Windows 10 image(s) for deployment through SCCM
Design/Build/Manage/Maintain Active Directory GPOs to customize the end-user computing environment as necessary (OS/Applications)
Design/Build/Manage/Maintain the Windows 10 user experience within VMware Horizon View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and/or Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform
Collaborate & Communicate across IT Teams to identify issues and provide/explain solutions
Tier 2/3 for internal support escalations where it relates to the Windows workstation platform (software and/or hardware)
Review existing processes/procedures/technologies and provide suggestions to streamline and optimize the environment
Create and update documentation where appropriate
Desktop/application troubleshooting
Knowledge of VBScript or Powershell
Leading the development of new technology to create a seamless user experience


5+ Years Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
5+ Years Experience with Application Packaging/Customization/Deployment
5+ Years Experience with Microsoft scripting languages (Batch, VBScript, PowerShell)
5+ Years Experience with building & maintaining Microsoft Windows OS images
5+ Years Experience with Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy
Experience with managing & maintaining VDI platforms (VMware/Citrix) and/or DaaS offerings
Experience with Microsoft Cloud Desktop Management Technologies (Office365, InTune, Desktop Analytics)
Experience with User-Profile Management Solutions (Microsoft UE-V, Work Folders, etc)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office configurations & functions (Templates, Styles, Quick Parts, etc)
Experience working in the Legal vertical is preferred, but not required
Related industry certifications preferred, but not required
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Strong service-oriented skills including excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Available for 24/7 support when critical issues arise
Highly Organized self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, and able to successfully multi-task
