We are looking for a qualified IT Support Specialist that will provide support for
users experiencing computer issues. This role is the first point of contact for users.
The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
This job will involve asking questions to determine how they can best solve a
user’s problems suing resources and technical knowledge. The goal is to build and
maintain updated and efficient computer systems to optimize the role of
technology on business sustainability.


Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
(monitors, printers, etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to
Set up and deploy IT equipment for new employees
Address and resolve incoming tickets from users regarding hardware,
software, and network issues
Assess recurring issues to create automated processes where possible
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software
and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others
from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or
replace parts, debugging etc.)
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Must be tech-savvy. Be willing to put users first and be patient while
assisting them.
Work in a fast-paced environment answering a high volume of help tickets
and MS Teams chats
Identify computer or peripheral equipment shortages and notify management to place orders


Proven experience as Desktop Support Specialist or relevant position
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+,
Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
